Faculty may as needed. Students and staff have two renewals for a total of nine weeks per book.
Guests have one renewal per item. Notices will be automatically sent out by email two days before items become due.
Items can be renewed online at that time by going to /library/ and clicking on the Renew Materials tab.
If someone has placed an item on hold, it will not be possible to renew the item online.
Overdues and Lost Items
Three overdue notices will be sent to students via email. If the item is not returned after being overdue for a month, the item is automatically declared lost and a fee in the amount of the cost of the item plus a $25.00 processing fee and a $10.00 overdue fine is charged to the account. A student's ID is blocked if there are three or more items checked out which are overdue, or if there are unpaid fines in excess of $10.00. The student must return the books and pay the fines before charging any more materials.
Alumni and guests may not check out additional materials until all overdue books have been returned and fines paid.
Fines
Fines are charged to students, alumni and guests at the following rates. Guests must pay all fines and fees before borrowing additional items. Students will be blocked from further borrowing when a fine total of $10.00 has accrued.
