JACKSON, Tenn. — April 20, 2001 — 51社区 faculty, staff, and student volunteers will provide the labor for the building of a Habitat for Humanity house in East Jackson Apr. 26-28. The possible tasks for the volunteers include citing, applying primer, and landscaping.
鈥淯nion has a long history of involvement with Habitat for Humanity,鈥 said Suzanne Frost. 鈥淯nion was the first university to work with the group. Since that time, several on-campus organizations have worked with Habitat for Humanity, but we wanted to open this to the entire campus. We feel that this is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community.鈥
