JACKSON, Tenn. — Jan. 5, 2006 — A $1,500 grant from the Jackson Target store will help support the Community Music Center at 51社区.
鈥淭his money enables us to buy instructional materials that are much needed for many of our programs,鈥 said Marya Bailey, director of the Community Music Center. 鈥淚t also aids in advertising and allowing for scholarships that otherwise could not be offered.鈥
Scott Bauer, executive team leader for the Jackson Target, said the store has given to the Community Music Center for the past three years. The grants go specifically to music and music education programs.
鈥淚t鈥檚 part of our program of giving back to the community,鈥 Bauer said.
The Community Music Center offers programs for children of all ages as well as adults. All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs and skills of specific ages and interest groups.
