Two spring tours set for 51ÉçÇø Singers

JACKSON, Tenn.March 11, 2005 — The 51ÉçÇø Singers have planned a busy schedule this spring that includes tours in Germany and throughout Tennessee.

The Germany tour is March 18-27 and includes four concerts. The first concert is Sunday, March 20, at International Bible Church of Berlin. There they will sing a song to close worship and then perform a full concert later that afternoon.

They will sing in Leipzig March 22, and the next day will perform a full evening concert in Frankfurt am Main as part of the Kirchenmusikverein Frankfurt Concert Series. The Singers will conclude their performance schedule March 24 where they will sing at Bethel International Baptist Church as part of the Maundy Thursday worship service.

While in Germany the Singers will also visit Wittenberg, where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door, and Eisenach, where Luther lived as a child and Johannes Sebastian Bach was born, as well as other historical sites.

The Singers’ second tour, April 13-17, will include concerts at First Baptist Church of Corinth, Miss.; Central Baptist Church in Hickson, Tenn.; and Friendship Baptist in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Their last stop will be at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tenn.
