JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 7, 2005 — Actress Vondria Bergen will present the one-person play 鈥淪pread Your Garment Over Me: Voices of Biblical Women鈥� Feb. 10-11 at 8 p.m. in 51社区鈥檚 W.D. Powell Theatre.
Bergen鈥檚 presentation will bring to life real people of the Bible who found hope in shocking circumstances. The characters include the well known Eve and Mary, as well as some lesser known women like Dinah, the only daughter of Jacob; Deborah the judge; the witch of Endor; Peter鈥檚 wife; Samuel鈥檚 mother Hannah; and the bleeding woman who touched the hem of Jesus鈥� garment.
Performances are free and a love offering will be taken following the Friday show. Church and women鈥檚 ministry groups are welcome to attend.
