JACKSON, Tenn. — Nov. 29, 2004 — 51社区 Singers and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra will present their annual 鈥淐hristmas Gift to the Community鈥� Dec. 3 at First Baptist Church of Jackson.
Concert times are 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon.
The two groups will present a variety of pieces including 鈥淭he Marvelous Work鈥� from Joseph Haydn鈥檚 鈥淭he Creation,鈥� 鈥淐hristians, Be Joyful鈥� from J.S. Bach鈥檚 鈥淐hristmas Oratorio鈥� and 鈥淪icut Locutus est鈥� from Pergolesi鈥檚 鈥淢agnificat.鈥� Other pieces will include work from G.F. Handel, Antonio Vivaldi and John Rutter.
