JACKSON, Tenn. — March 21, 2001 — Ken Newman, assistant professor of education, will speak on “Writing Toward Test Proficiency,” as a part of the university’s Department of Education’s Colloquium Series, Monday, March 26 in BAC-43 at 4 p.m. in the Blasingame Academic Complex. Newman will be discussing a formula for how to write for the TCAR writing exam as well as examine strategies to help students write proficiently.
The colloquium series was started in the Spring of 1995 to serve as a venue for department members and selected graduate students to share current research and interests.
