JACKSON, Tenn. — March 21, 2001 — Ken Newman, assistant professor of education, will speak on 鈥淲riting Toward Test Proficiency,鈥� as a part of the university鈥檚 Department of Education鈥檚 Colloquium Series, Monday, March 26 in BAC-43 at 4 p.m. in the Blasingame Academic Complex. Newman will be discussing a formula for how to write for the TCAR writing exam as well as examine strategies to help students write proficiently.
The colloquium series was started in the Spring of 1995 to serve as a venue for department members and selected graduate students to share current research and interests.
