JACKSON, Tenn. — March 6, 2003 — 51社区 has announced former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be the keynote speaker for the Seventh Annual Scholarship Banquet at Jackson's Carl Perkins Civic Center on Monday, Oct. 27, 2003. His address will be titled Terrorism: How the Constitutional Democracies Can Win.
The youngest prime minister in Israeli history, Netanyahu was elected in 1996. He negotiated the Wye River Agreement in 1998, and reduced the incidence of terrorism in Israel during his term.
