JACKSON, Tenn. — April 13, 2023 — 51社区鈥檚 McAfee School of Business will host Frank Harrison for its annual Faith in the Marketplace luncheon April 27. Harrison has served in various leadership roles, including chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Consolidated since 1996.
鈥淗arrison鈥檚 history at Coca-Cola Consolidated focuses on creating a culture of servant leaders whose values and actions honor God,鈥 said Karen Miller, interim dean for the McAfee School of Business. 鈥淗is leadership is a great example that we should not be afraid to integrate our faith in the workplace but to instead be moved by the power God has given us to share his love with those we work beside daily.鈥
Miller said the Faith in the Marketplace Luncheon is a great chance for students to experience successful business leaders who have excelled as Christian leaders in business, and she said the luncheon provides local businesses the opportunity to learn the strategic integration of faith and the workplace.
Harrison鈥檚 great-grandfather first introduced Coca-Cola to the Carolinas, and Harrison is now the fourth-generation family leader of what has become the nation鈥檚 largest Coca-Cola bottler.
In 2008, Harrison co-founded Open Eyes, a public, non-profit ministry dedicated to equipping leaders throughout the world who serve those in need, share the message of Jesus Christ and disciple believers.
Along with his work in Coca-Cola Consolidated and Open Eyes, Harrison has served as a chairman of the American Beverage Association, a member of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Board of Directors, chairman of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and chairman of Youth Commission International.
The Faith in the Marketplace luncheon is open to the public and will take place at 12 p.m. in the Carl Grant Events Center. Cost is $25 per seat or $180 per table of eight. Registration ends April 24 and is available online at .
