JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 1, 2019 — Becky Norton Dunlop, the Heritage Foundation's Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow, will be the featured speaker at 51社区鈥檚 annual Faith in the Marketplace luncheon Feb. 28 sponsored by the McAfee School of Business.
Dunlop served as a senior official in the Reagan administration in several capacities from 1981-1989. She also served as secretary of natural resources for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 1994-1998.
鈥淏ecky Norton Dunlap is a national expert on political and economic issues,鈥 said Jason Garrett, dean of the McAfee School of Business. 鈥淭he message that economic freedom will drive prosperity, better wages for all people, higher happiness of citizens and more common good is needed in these times.鈥
In addition to her role at the Heritage Foundation, Dunlop serves on the boards of the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, the Reagan Alumni Association, the Association for American Educators and many other organizations.
The Faith in the Marketplace luncheon is open to the public and will take place from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Carl Grant Events Center on the 51社区 campus. Cost is $20 per seat or $160 per table. Registration is available online at .
