JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 22, 2018 — New Testament scholar Douglas Moo will speak at 51社区 Oct. 29 to launch the School of Theology and Missions Lecture Series.
Moo is the Kenneth T. Wessner Professor of New Testament at the Wheaton College Graduate School in Wheaton, Illinois, and is the author of several commentaries on New Testament books, including Romans, James and Galatians. He previously served for more than 20 years at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
His lecture is entitled 鈥淐reation and New Creation: From Eschatology to Ethics.鈥�

Van Neste said the STM Lecture Series will bring to Union鈥檚 campus several scholars each academic year, giving students the opportunity to engage with leading scholarship from various sectors of the evangelical world.

The lecture will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Coburn Dining Room in the Barefoot Student Union Building. It is free and open to the public.
