JACKSON, Tenn. — March 19, 2018 — Cary Summers, president of the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., will be the keynote speaker at 51社区鈥檚 Faith in the Marketplace luncheon April 12.
鈥淭his event will allow business people, pastors, entrepreneurs, medical professionals, teachers, lawyers and service providers to reflect on how we serve in today鈥檚 society,鈥 said Jason Garrett, dean of Union鈥檚 McAfee School of Business, which is sponsoring the event.
Summers oversaw the design and building of the 430,000-square international museum that opened in November and oversees the programming for the facility. He previously served as president and CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment/Silver Dollar City Corp., one of the world鈥檚 largest theme-attraction operators. He has also worked as a vice president for Bass Pro Shops and a general manager for Abercrombie and Fitch.
