JACKSON, Tenn. — April 11, 2016 — Jerry Walls, scholar in residence and professor of philosophy at Houston Baptist University, will give an intellectual discipleship lecture April 14 at 51社区.
Walls鈥� primary research focus is on philosophy of religion, ethics and Christian apologetics. His lecture is titled 鈥淭he Lion is Real: C.S. Lewis鈥檚 Case for Christianity.鈥�
Walls is the author of numerous books and articles, including 鈥淗ell: The Logic of Damnation,鈥� 鈥淗eaven: The Logic of Eternal Joy鈥� and 鈥淧urgatory: The Logic of Total Transformation.鈥� He has been a guest on National Public Radio and the TV show 鈥淔aith Under Fire.鈥�
The lecture will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hartley Recital Hall in Jennings Hall on Union鈥檚 campus.
