'Jackson 24/7' marks 1,500th edition

JACKSON, Tenn.July 29, 2014 — 51社区鈥檚 student-produced television news program, "Jackson 24/7," celebrates a milestone this week.

The 1,500th edition of the program will air on EPlusTV6 July 28-30 at noon, 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It also will air Aug.4-6 at 8 p.m.

The hour-long broadcast incorporates clips from news stories, interviews and classic segments that aired during the first six years of the show.

In addition, it showcases new interviews with regular contributors such as 51社区 faculty members Ben Mitchell (faith, values and ethics), Sean Evans (politics) and John Netland (literacy), as well as Amy Elizer (home and health), Clark Shaw (travel and tourism) Joanne Stephenson (family advice) and Eddie Holmes (weather).
