Enactus members go to Disney

JACKSON, Tenn.Oct. 14, 2013 — 51社区 Enactus members attended a leadership conference at Disney World in Florida, Sept. 27-28, hearing from national business leaders.

Enactus is a group of business students who seek to use entrepreneurial actions to improve the world.

The Enactus Fall Leadership Conference was held to sharpen students鈥 leadership skills by providing workshops and opportunities to hear professionals speak. The conference emphasized finding problems and creating solutions, while empowering peoples to help themselves.

鈥淟istening to the various business leaders involved with Enactus gave me a whole new perspective on what Enactus is truly about: coming together as a community of leaders, using our entrepreneurial abilities to create a more sustainable world,鈥 Union Enactus member Richauna Kidd said.

Keynote speakers included Nate Morris, co-founder and CEO of Rubicon Global; David Emerson, president of Enactus; and Eric Magnussen, vice president of talent for Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
