JACKSON, Tenn. — Nov. 21, 2001 — 51社区鈥檚 communication arts, music and art departments will come together to present the fourth annual 鈥淐hristmas Is鈥he Messiah,鈥� Tuesday, Dec. 4 in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Written and directed by Wayne Johnson, associate professor of communication arts, the presentation will feature performances by the 51社区 Players, the Symphonic Band and the 51社区 Chapel Choir.
Musical selections will feature the Christmas section of George Frederick Handel鈥檚 The Messiah.
The evening鈥檚 events will also include a nativity scene with audience participation in a Christmas carol sing-along.
