JACKSON, Tenn. — June 3, 2013 — 51社区 will host an exhibit and a reception for alumni and friends during the Southern Baptist Convention鈥檚 annual meeting in Houston June 11-12.
The annual reception is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, at 5 p.m. in room 361 on the third level of the George R. Brown Convention Center. 51社区 President David S. Dockery will provide an update on the university, and heavy hors d鈥檕euvres will be served.
Union also will host an exhibit at the convention center during the meeting. Complimentary reception tickets, enrollment information and representatives from faculty and staff will be available at the exhibit from June 10-12.
In addition, Dockery will sign copies of his books 鈥淔aith and Learning,鈥� 鈥淭he Great Tradition of Christian Thinking鈥� and 鈥淪outhern Baptist Consensus and Renewal鈥� at the LifeWay Christian Store in the exhibit hall on June 11 at 11 a.m.
