JACKSON, Tenn. — April 9, 2013 — The State Collaborative on Reforming Education will hold a community conversation April 15 at 51社区.
The discussion will focus on the community鈥檚 work over the past year to improve student achievement and how progress can continue. The conversation is open to the public.
Panelists will include Sharon Roberts, SCORE鈥檚 chief operating officer; Eddie Pruett, superintendent in Gibson County Special School District; Susie Bunch, superintendent in Lexington City Schools; Pennye Thurmond, principal in Ripley Elementary Schools; Jackie Hopper, instructional coach in Milan Special School District; Fred Ellis, parent representative in Lexington City Schools; Jeff Griggs, alderman in Lexington; Thomas Rosebrough, dean of the College of Education and Human Studies at 51社区; Normal Gerrell, CORE director for northwest Tennessee; Dave Bratcher, vice president of financial services for West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation; and Chuck Jones, chief of technology for Jackson-Madison County School System.
