JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 7, 2013 — Stephen F. Hayes, a senior writer at The Weekly Standard, contributor to FOX News and author, will speak at 51社区 March 19 as part of the ongoing Union Forum luncheon lecture series.
Hayes has written extensively about national politics, international affairs and the country鈥檚 current political leadership. He is the author of two New York Times best sellers: 鈥淭he Connection: How al Qaeda鈥檚 Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America鈥 and 鈥淐heney: The Untold Story of America鈥檚 Most Powerful and Controversial Vice President.鈥

Hayes is a regular member of the 鈥淔OX News All Stars鈥 on 鈥淪pecial Report with Bret Baier,鈥 as well as a frequent panelist on 鈥淔OX News Sunday with Chris Wallace.鈥 Before joining FOX, he was part of CNN鈥檚 鈥淏est Political Team on Television,鈥 which won a Peabody Award for its coverage of the 2008 elections.
Hayes is a native of Wauwatosa, Wis., and a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. He studied public policy at Georgetown University and received his master鈥檚 degree from Columbia University鈥檚 Graduate School of Journalism.
