‘A Union Christmas’ set for tonight

JACKSON, Tenn.Dec. 6, 2011 — Community members are invited to a night of Christmas carols and Scripture reading at the annual “A Union Christmas” Dec. 6 in 51’s G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

The music department of 51 is responsible for leading the event. The night will feature congregational singing and Scripture reading, as well music by the University Singers, Choral Union, Proclamation, Symphonic Band, University String Ensemble, University Handbells and the University Children’s Chorus.

“A Union Christmas” begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free of charge.
