JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 27, 2001 — 51社区 professor of music Ronald Boud will perform original compositions in a recital Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Hartley Recital Hall in Jennings Hall on the university鈥檚 campus.
Four premier works will be performed, including a song cycle titled 鈥淚nsects and Crawly Creatures.鈥� The recital will also include works for a vocal solo, clarinet solo, two pianos and a choral work in which the audience will be invited to sing along.
Boud will be assisted by his colleagues Dianne Gatwood, assistant professor of music, Joseph Blass, university professor of music, David Dennis, professor of music, David McClune, professor of music, Michael Penny, assistant professor of music, and Georgia Wellborn, assistant professor of music.
