JACKSON, Tenn. — March 22, 2010 — Ole Miss poet Beth Ann Fennelly will present a poetry reading at 51社区 March 25 as part of a creative writing workshop for high school students.
Fennelly, an associate professor at the University of Mississippi, has published three books of poetry: 鈥淥pen House,鈥� which won the 2001 Kenyon Review Prize, 鈥淭ender Hooks鈥� and 鈥淯nmentionables.鈥� She is also the author of the nonfiction book 鈥淕reat with Child.鈥� Her poems have been reprinted in more than 40 anthologies.
Fennelly鈥檚 reading will begin at 1 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student Union Building. It is free and open to the public.
