JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 25, 2010 — Scott Klusendorf, founder and president of Life Training Institute and author of “The Case for Life” will speak at 51 March 1.
Klusendorf travels throughout the United States and Canada training pro-life advocates to defend their views in the public square. He has appeared on nationally syndicated programs like “Focus on the Family” with James Dobson, Billy Graham’s “Hour of Decision,” “The Bible Answer Man” with Hank Hanegraaff, “For Faith and Family” with Richard Land and others.
As a guest speaker in bioethics, Klusendorf has taught pro-life apologetics at Biola University, Trinity International University Law School and Orange Coast College. He has been invited by student groups as a lecturer to such institutions as Stanford, USC, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, Loyola Marymount Law School, West Virginia Medical School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, U.S. Air Force Academy, Cal-Tech and the University of North Carolina.
“Scott Klusendorf is an outstanding pro-life thinker and speaker,” said Micah Watson, director of Union’s Center for Politics and Religion, which is sponsoring the event. “He has a gift of presenting the pro-life position both winsomely and with intellectual rigor. We’re thrilled to host him at Union and introduce him to our students.”
Klusendorf’s address, entitled “The Case for Life,” will begin at 4 p.m. in the Carl Grant Events Center. The event is free and open to the public.
