Limited schedule for Feb. 1 due to inclement weather

JACKSON, Tenn.Jan. 31, 2010 — The Jackson campus will operate on a limited inclement weather schedule on Monday, Feb. 1.

The campus will open at 9:30 a.m. on a very limited basis. All members of Facilities Management are asked to come to campus as early as possible.

Faculty and students completing winter term finals are asked to be on campus according to the exam schedule posted below. Members of the Student Life staff working to complete set-up of Bowld Commons and Union Station personnel are asked to be on campus beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Other personnel may be called upon as needed. Otherwise, faculty, staff and students are urged to stay away from campus in order for crews to clean roadways and parking lots to prepare for student move-in day on Tuesday.

All remaining winter term final exams will be given on Monday in White Hall, either in the regular White Hall classroom or as noted below:

9:30-11:20 MAT 114 (White Hall 101) and BIO 395

10:00-11:50 CHR 112 (Van Neste; White Hall 312), CHE 111, and PHY 111 (White Hall 102)

10:00-12:50 CHE 112 Lab

12:00-1:50 ENG 202 (White Hall 102)

With significant thawing expected by Monday afternoon, it is anticipated at this time that Monday evening classes will begin as scheduled.

The Germantown campus will open at 8 a.m. Monday. Germantown and Hendersonville programs will operate on regular schedules.

The Faculty Winter Workshop will be rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Grant Center. The Chairs' Workshop will be rescheduled at a later time.

The student teacher seminar will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. instead of 10:00-12:00 to allow early arrival students time to come to campus on Tuesday instead of Monday.

All Southern Seminary classes meeting on campus Monday are canceled.

All all PEWS classes scheduled to begin on Feb. 1 will now begin Feb. 3
