JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 10, 2001 — 51社区 will host its fifth annual Family Weekend, Oct. 12-13. The weekend is sponsored by the Student Activities Counsel and is designed to help students鈥� families get acquainted with the Union family.
鈥淭his is a great opportunity for families to come and visit Union鈥檚 campus and see what their students are involved in,鈥� said Mark VanderHaar, director of wellness and student programs. 鈥淔amily Weekend helps build positive relationships between parents and Union faculty and staff.鈥�
The weekend has something for everyone in the entire family to participate in. Activities include informative and enjoyable workshops ranging from tracing one鈥檚 family history to taking the best pictures, the annual campus variety show, a banquet featuring entertainment by the men鈥檚 quartet 鈥淓vidence,鈥� and a special viewing of 鈥淲ho鈥檚 on First,鈥� a play with hilarious results!
