Lots of fun in store for Family Weekend

JACKSON, Tenn.Sept. 10, 2001 — 51 will host its fifth annual Family Weekend, Oct. 12-13. The weekend is sponsored by the Student Activities Counsel and is designed to help students’ families get acquainted with the Union family.

The weekend has something for everyone in the entire family to participate in. Activities include informative and enjoyable workshops ranging from tracing one’s family history to taking the best pictures, the annual campus variety show, a banquet featuring entertainment by the men’s quartet “Evidence,” and a special viewing of “Who’s on First,” a play with hilarious results!

The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 13 and under. For more information, contact VanderHaar at (731) 661-5285.
