Incorporating both mechanical and electrical areas of concentration, with possibilities for an industrial emphasis at a later time, Union鈥檚 engineering program prepares graduates for the practice of engineering at the professional level, with a strong background in the physical sciences and mathematics in addition to the humanities.
鈥淲e are indeed grateful to the Maytag Corporation for their visible and generous support of the engineering program at 51社区,鈥 said 51社区 President David S. Dockery. 鈥淭he establishment of partnerships like this one with Maytag will enable the Union engineering program to impact the Jackson and West Tennessee community for years to come.鈥
