JACKSON, Tenn. — March 21, 2009 — Back-to-back three-pointers by Kayla Hudson provided a needed spark for the Lady Bulldogs, who came from behind to defeat Point Loma Nazarene 65-59 Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NAIA national tournament at Oman Arena.

Less than a minute later, Meredith Jacobs also hit a trey to give Union a 60-55 lead. Point Loma never got closer than three the rest of the way.
Josephine Owino led Union with 15 points and 20 rebounds. Kaitlin Dudley scored 13, while Hudson and Jacobs each added 11.
