JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 23, 2008 — 51社区 will host a debate between Madison County Democratic Party Chairman David Johnson and Republican Party Chairman Steve Maroney Oct. 27.
In the 90-minute debate, each participant will have a two-minute opening and closing statement, two minutes each to answer each question and one minute for rebuttal. Steve Bowers will moderate the debate and will screen questions submitted by students and audience members.
The debate will be held in the Carl Grant Events Center at 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
