JACKSON, Tenn. — April 8, 2008 — The 51社区 Singers and the Voices of Proclamation will present their spring tour concert at First Baptist Church of Jackson April 13 at 6 p.m.
This will be the final performance of the Singers鈥� spring tour of Tennessee churches. The Singers and Proclamation have just returned from a seven-day tour of France, where they presented concerts for large audiences in Paris, Nice and St. Paul de Vence.
The concert will consist of choral masterworks, hymn arrangements and spirituals. Richard Joiner is the conductor of both ensembles, and the concert will be the last for Joiner to conduct, as he is retiring at the end of the spring semester.
The concert is free and open to the public. First Baptist Church is located at 1627 N. Highland Ave.
