JACKSON, Tenn. — March 22, 2008 — Kaitlin Dudley scored a game-high 21 points as Union rolled past Lewis-Clark State College 82-57 in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship Saturday at Oman Arena.
Union improves to 35-0 and will face Vanguard at 8 p.m. Monday in the tournament semifinals. In the other semifinal game Monday, Union's TranSouth conference rivals Freed-Hardeman University and Trevecca Nazarene will play at 6 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs led 34-21 at halftime, and Lewis-Clark State never cut into that margin in the second half.
Crystal Eason added 15 points for Union, followed by 12 points from Jessica Graves and 11 points from Zeinab Chan, who also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
