JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 19, 2007 — 51社区 will host more than 300 educators from across Tennessee Sept. 22 for the 2007 fall conference of the Tennessee Association for Childhood Education International.
The conference, 鈥淪pace to Play; Room to Grow,鈥 will include more than 40 sessions for those who support the education of infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, primary school, family care, administration and higher education.
Rebecca Isbell, professor of early childhood education at East Tennessee State University, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
Other guest speakers will include Shirley Raines of the University of Memphis, Darlene Walden of Gabriel鈥檚 Garden, Darren Robert of Eastern Connecticut State University, Jane Robert of Pleasant Valley Public School in Groton, Conn., and Bill Yongue of the Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes, Fla.
