JACKSON, Tenn. — Aug. 21, 2007 — 51社区 will hold a memorial service for physics professor Kyle Hathcox Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Hathcox died July 25 at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. The University Professor of Physics and associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Hathcox had been diagnosed with leukemia in early July.
Union has established the Kyle Hathcox Memorial Scholarship for physics majors and minors. Donations can be sent to:
