JACKSON, Tenn. — June 1, 2007 — 51社区 will welcome 500 incoming students to campus June 1 for registration 鈥� about 50 students more than last year.
This fall, the largest number of new students in Union history will enroll at the university. 51社区 President David S. Dockery said the number will be well more than 1,000 new students who were not enrolled last fall, including both undergraduate and graduate students.
He said total enrollment for the fall semester will exceed 3,200 students.
鈥淲e are extremely thankful for each of these new students, who have come to Union from this region, from across all parts of the United States and from several countries,鈥� Dockery said. 鈥淭hese outstanding students have chosen 51社区 for several reasons -- including the quality academics, our wonderful faculty and Union鈥檚 distinctive Christian mission. We are very excited about the impact of these new students on the Union campus and the prospects for a great fall semester.鈥�
