JACKSON, Tenn. — Jan. 8, 2001 — The 51社区 R.G. Lee Centers and the Seminary Extension Program, in cooperation with local associations, has announced the following schedule of study opportunities for the Spring 2001 semester:
The R.G. Lee Center of the Alpha Baptist Association in Centerville will hold registration Tuesday, Jan. 23, for a class on minor prophets to be taught at the Alpha Association Center in Centerville, Tenn. "Minor Prophets" (RGL 317) will be held at the time of registration from 7 to 9 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the Beech River Baptist Association in Lexington will hold a class on the "Johannine Literature" (RGL 423) Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the Beech River Association Center in Lexington, Tenn., from 7 to 9 p.m. Registration begins at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center at Beulah Baptist Association in Union City will also offer a study of the "Johannine Literature" (RGL 423), Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Beulah Baptist Association Center in Union City, Tenn. Registration begins at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the Big Hatchie Baptist Association in Convington will begin a study of the "Introduction to Bible Study and Interpretation" (RGL 113) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22 at the Big Hatchie Baptist Association Center in Covington, Tenn. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the Gibson Baptist Association in Trenton will offer the class on "Daniel" (RGL 346) on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Gibson Baptist Association Center in Trenton, Tenn. from 7 to 9 p.m. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the Madison/Chester Association in Jackson will hold the class "Studies in the Pentateuch" (RGL 314), Monday, Jan. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Madison/Chester Baptist Center in Jackson, Tenn. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the Shelby Baptist Association in Memphis will hold the class "Poetry & Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament" (RGL 415) on Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at International Baptist Church, 627 Monroe Ave., in Memphis, Tenn. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
The R.G. Lee Center of the SEMO Baptist Association in Memphis will hold two classes this spring. "Introduction to Christian Evangelism" (RGL 306) will be held Thursday, Jan. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the SEMO Baptist Association Center in Hayti, Mo. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. Registration for the class "Southern Baptist Life" (RGL 454) will be Thursday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the SEMO Association Center. The class will meet March 29 - May 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the center.
The R.G. Lee Center at Turney Correctional Institute in Only will hold the class "The Johannine Literature" (RGL 423) on Monday, Jan. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Turney Correctional Institute in Only, Tenn. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
Seminary classes for Spring 2000 will begin meeting for thirteen weeks from January 29 through April 30 in Hammons and Jennings Halls at 51社区 in Jackson, Tenn. Courses to be taught include "Introduction to Missiology", "Supervised Ministry Experience," "Introduction to Christian Philosophy," and "Survey of Christian Ethics."
