JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 6, 2006 — 51社区 music professor Michael Penny will present a voice recital Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Hartley Recital Hall on the Union campus.
Assisting Penny will be Union pianist Joan Forbes, Union adjunct guitar teacher Troy Leach and Madison Academic Magnet High School student Austin Anthony, who will play trombone.
Penny will perform songs composed by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Benjamin Britten, as well as songs he composed himself.
Hartley Recital Hall is located in Jennings Hall on the west end of Union鈥檚 campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
