JACKSON, Tenn. — March 20, 2006 — Poet Jeff Hardin will give a poetry reading at 51社区 March 28.
Hardin, associate professor of English at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tenn., will be the visiting writer for 51社区鈥檚 annual Creative Writing Workshop for college and high school students.
The poetry reading will begin at 1 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium in the Student Union Building. It is free and open to the public, and a book signing will follow.
Hardin is the author of 鈥淔all Sanctuary,鈥� which won the 2004 Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize. He has had dozens of poems published in journals and anthologies.
