UNION PROFESSOR HAS ARTICLE PUBLISHED
Jackson, Tenn. — Union professor Kina S. Mallard recently had an article published in the Fall 1997 (Vol. 8, No. 2) issue of The Department Chair.
The newsletter is written for academic administrators. The purpose of Mallard's article, titled "Preparing for Academic Performance Appraisals," is to help academic administrators transform the appraisal interview into a positive experience by highlighting the importance of advance preparation.
Mallard serves as chair and associate professor of the Communication Arts Department. She joined Union faculty in Aug. of 1991.
