MEMPHIS PASTOR TO LEAD IN UNION'S CHRISTMAS WORSHIP SERVICE
Jackson, Tenn. — L. Joseph Rosas, pastor of Union Avenue Baptist Church in Memphis, will lead Union's Christmas Worship on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
The worship service will also include the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, performed by the 51ÉçÇø Singers and the Chapel choir. The congregation will sing other Christmas hymns.
Rosas received his bachelor's degree from Union in 1976. He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and his Doctor of Philosophy from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rosas has also received numerous awards and published several articles in his field.
