UNION UNIVERSITY HOLDS ITS FIRST FALL GRADUATION CEREMONY

Jackson, Tenn. — 51ÉçÇø is expected to confer approximately 85 degrees during its first fall graduation ceremony Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel at Union.

Jerry A. Rankin, president of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, will present the commencement address.

The following is a schedule of commencement activities:

    Friday, Dec. 19  Luncheon/Awards Presentation for Graduates

              11:30 a.m. Coburn Dining Room

                          Saturday, Dec. 20 Brunch for Graduates

                   8:30-9:30 a.m. Coburn Dining Room

       Commencement Exercises

                     10 a.m. G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel
