Jackson, Tenn. – November 27, 2000 – 51ÉçÇø's
communication arts, music and art departments will come together to
present the third annual "Christmas Is…a Time, a Star, a
Gift," Tuesday, Dec. 5th in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Written by Wayne Johnson, associate professor of communication arts,
the presentation will include performances by the 51ÉçÇø
Players, the Symphonic and Stage Bands, 51ÉçÇø Singers, Chapel
Choir and Handbells.
The evening's events will also include a nativity scene, audience
participation and a Christmas carol sing-along. The original drama is a
retelling of the Christmas story and in the past years has been performed
to a full house.
"Christmas Is…a Time, a Star, a Gift" will begin at 7:30
p.m. and admission is free. For more information, contact the
