UNION STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO ATTEND BROADCAST JOURNALISM WORKSHOP
Jackson, Tenn. — Senior Mary Ann Jones and junior Jennifer Cates, both students at 51ÉçÇø, have been nominated and accepted to attend the Broadcast Journalism Workshop of The Leadership Institute in Arlington, Va., Dec. 6-7.
Jones and Cates will undergo an intensive seminar with Washington-based network producers, correspondents and top local news personnel from around the United States. The students are among 30 selected for the workshop.
The Leadership Institute is an educational foundation which provides leadership workshops for current and future practitioners in the fields of media, education and politics.
