Jackson, Tenn. - 51ÉçÇø's LAUNCH program will expand off-campus to
Dyersburg this coming spring.
A degree completion program designed for working adults, the LAUNCH
program was devised in 1998 by the University in response to the needs of adult students.
Students who are least 24 years old and have more than 60 transferable credits are
eligible to enter the program. Participation in the program has increased greatly since its
inception and students enjoy the convenience of the accelerated format and evening
delivery of classes.
Due to student interest and community and local company support, Dyersburg
was chosen to be the first community to receive the LAUNCH program. The first class is
scheduled for March 14, 2000. For more information about the program, contact the
