UNION UNIVERSITY PRESENTS ARTIST'S WORKS
Jackson, Tenn. — Kenny Jones will display his exhibit, "Elastic Orbits," at 51ÉçÇø's Art Gallery Dec. 1-Jan. 16.
"I see my job as a mirror maker...a ground where an examination of when and where we are can take place," Jones said.
Jones received his MFA in Painting and Sculpture at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his BFA in Painting at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. He currently serves as an assistant professor of Art at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
The show will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. There is no charge for admission. There will also be a Student Pottery & Art Sale Dec. 4-5 at Union's Barefoot Student Union Building from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information concerning the display or the art and pottery sale, call Michael Mallard at 661-5289.
