Jackson, Tenn. – November 9, 2000 – In continuation of
the fall LIFE Issues Forum series, 51ÉçÇø will hold a lecture by
James Huggins, department chair and professor of biology at Union, who
will speak on the topic of "Creation or Evolution," Monday, Nov.
20 at 7 p.m. in Harvey Hall. The event is tri-sponsored by the Student
Government Association, Office of Campus Ministries, and BIOME, Union's
newly-formed biology club.
Huggins will speak on both sides of the issues regarding creation and
evolution, which will be followed by an opportunity for discussion with
audience members.
"No one will want to miss this forum," said Jay Ridenhour,
director of discipleship ministries. "Dr. Huggins is a brilliant man
with many interesting takes on this issue."
