Jackson, Tenn. Joanne Stephenson, Associate Professor of Psychology at 51ÉçÇø, made a presentation at the Annual Convention of the Tennessee Association of School Psychologists held from Oct. 29-Nov. 1., at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Holiday Inn.
The presentation titled, "Creativity: Description, Recognition, and Nurturance," was presented at a workshop at the convention on Nov. 1., and looks at the definition of creativity, how to become more creative, and how to foster that creativity in children.
Stephenson received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin and her Ed.D. from the University of Memphis. She has been a faculty member at Union since 1988.
