Jackson, Tenn. – October 18, 2000 – 51ÉçÇø’s School of Nursing will host “Profiles in Professional Nursing 2000,” a career fair highlighting the various fields in nursing, at the Germantown campus, Oct. 27 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Leaders from a variety of fields in nursing will be present to discuss specific areas of nursing roles, including forensics, pediatrics, oncology, flight nursing, trauma nursing, intensive care unit nursing, emergency, parish and many others. Students from Memphis high schools and West Tennessee nursing schools are invited to attend.
More than 30 representatives of these fields will be available for questions and information.
“This fair will offer anyone who is interested in working in the nursing profession the opportunity to learn more about the many choices that are available to them,” said Geri Smith, director of the fair and associate professor of nursing at Union.
