PRESIDENT OF OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY TO SPEAK AT UNION

Jackson, Tenn. Bob R. Agee, Ph.D, President of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla., will speak in Union's G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel on Oct. 20., at 10 a.m.

Agee is a native of Memphis. He received his bachelor's degree from Union University, his master's and doctoral from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in higher education from Vanderbilt's George Peabody College for Teachers.

Agee has been president of Oklahoma Baptist University since 1982. Since that time, he has led OBU through a period of steady growth in enrollment, financial resources and facilities. Agee is also involved in several national and statewide educational and denominational activities as well as in other organizations in the Shawnee community.
