will experience a campus-wide time of revival and refocus during Renewal
Week, Oct. 18-20. Titled 'The Glory and Grandeur of God," the week
will feature two guest speakers, Matt Chandler and Billy Foote, and is
sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministries.
"Renewal Week is a time for God to be glorified as we worship Him and grow in our understanding that the only life worth living is the one lived in accordance with the biblical worldview," said Todd Brady, minister to the university. Chandler is the associate pastor at Beltway Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas. A lead speaker for a college ministry that challenges and encourages more than a thousand young people each week, he has also been the keynote speaker at more than a hundred revivals. Noted for his dynamic personality, which allows the gospel to be presented in a motivational and challenging way, Chandler has an enthusiastic speaking style that reaches the young and old alike. Foote is the minister to students at First Baptist Church in Evergreen, Colo. He is a gifted songwriter and musician who has gained national recognition through his songs for conferences such as Passion. Services will be held in the G.M.
