Jackson, Tenn. - The 51社区 Players present, "Don't Drink the
Water," a comedy by Woody Allen. The performances will be held Oct. 15-17 and 19 at
7:30 p.m. There will be a matinee Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m. The comedy is about a tourist
family from New Jersey, and the setting is 1966 inside an American Embassy behind the Iron
Curtain. The plot includes communist KGB officers, an ambassador's son, a little love
interest , and a lot of laughs. Wayne Johnson, director of the comedy, said, "You can
come and laugh and go home. There is not a confusing plot that you must figure out; it's
just fun!"
General admission is $7 for adults and $4 for students. Reserved seating will cost an
additional dollar. Tickets are on sale now at the 51社区 box office at (901)
661-5105, or they may be purchased at the door for no additional charge. The box office is
open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
