UNION UNIVERSITY "CELEBRATES HIS PRESENCE"

Jackson, Tenn. — Special guests will be visiting Union's campus for "Renewal Week" Oct. 6-9.

The theme of "Renewal Week" is "Celebrating His Presence." Special chapel services will be held throughout the week in the G.M. Savage Chapel at Union University. The services will be led by Rev. Dean Register and musician Jeff Berry.

Rev. Dean Register serves as current pastor of the dynamic Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS. Last year he led Temple to evangelize the Pine Belt area and minister to people of all walks of life. God blessed the efforts by adding 295 new members to the fellowship. Registor is also a gifted writer who has contributed to the Advanced Bible Study Quarterly, Proclaim, the Baptist Record and many other publications.

Jeff Berry, a musician from Abilene, Texas, is "a worship leader in the truest sense of the term. Through his music, humor, and heart for God, he can take you from the worries of your world to the heart of God in no time at all," said Craig Taylor, pastor of Clear Lake Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He currently serves as worship leader for GRACE Bible Study, a college ministry in which over 1,200 students regularly attend.

The chapel services will be held Oct. 6-8 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 9:25 a.m.
